Joseph Nygate
VP Architecture and Business Development
Joseph (Yossi) Nygate is a seasoned professional with over 30 years in the telecommunications industry, allowing us to implement and support Machine Learning throughout our Century applications.
Yossi started his career at Bell Laboratories. He worked as a C/C++ developer for B/OSS systems, where he carried out his Ph.D. thesis on applying Artificial Intelligence to alarm correlation, which was then patented, productized, and sold by AT&T across North America, Japan, and Europe.
He held the position of Vice President of Architecture in Amdocs for ten years, during which he led the creation and technology acquisitions for their OSS division. He developed innovative applications that leveraged data mining, intelligent agents, and expert systems to create new B/OSS products. He also spent two years in Amdocs Singapore, leading business development in that region.
Yossi has also worked for four years as an Associate Professor within the graduate program in Telecommunications at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and two years as a Senior Lecturer and Program Manager for the Software Engineering program at RMIT in Vietnam.
Yossi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and two MSc degrees. With more than 20 patents and publications in applying Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data technologies to the telecommunications market, including SDN, traffic optimization, problem management and wireless network coverage, Yossi will be a valuable teammate to help us raise Century to the next level.
